The Edens is a development well placed to take advantage of all that the area has to offer. It backs on to Eltham Common, a large grassy area forming part of Oxleas Wood, believed to date back 8000 years. Well Hall Road takes you under the A2, past the station (under a mile away) straight to Eltham town centre, a thriving high street with a healthy mix of high street chains and individual outlets, including Next, M&S and Debenhams. And if that is not enough, Bluewater and Lakeside Shopping centres are within easy reach; enough for the most dedicated of shoppers.

The opportunities for eating out are extraordinary; most of the world’s varied cuisine can be found within a mile or so of the Edens; enough for the most experimental of tastes. Keen golfers will relish the number of golf courses in the area, and if keeping in shape is important to you then there are a number of well equipped fitness centres in the area.

For those of a more leisurely disposition, the many parks and areas of woodland offer much to explore. Equally enjoyable is a visit to the historic Eltham Palace, the Imperial War Museum, or further afield to Greenwich, home of the Greenwich Observatory and the National Maritime Museum.
