Living in Rayleigh combines convenient access to London with the charm of an historical Essex market town, which is much loved by locals and visitors alike.

The location of the Barringtons is sure to appeal. The Essex coast and the M25 are within easy reach thanks to the nearby A12 and A127, or you can head straight into the heart of London’s Docklands via the A13. The station is under a mile away, with trains to London Liverpool Street taking just over 40 minutes, while those looking to travel further afield will find Stansted and City airports within a 45 minute drive. There is also a convenient hourly bus service to Stansted.

There are excellent primary and secondary schools in Rayleigh, two of which are within a mile of this development. The town has a family friendly feel and there are plenty of activities for young people to enjoy including a laser game centre and soft play facilities.

The Barringtons is situated a couple of miles from Sainsbury’s and Tesco Supermarkets. Rayleigh town centre has a good mix of high street stores, a small outdoor market every Wednesday and a permanent indoor market, Rayleigh Lanes, boasting 20 specialist traders. The town is also proud to be the home of local butcher, Byfords, which has a national reputation for award-winning meats and pies. Those who enjoy some more serious retail therapy are also well catered for as Southend and Lakeside are within easy reach.
